The City of Praia wins dozens of monitors trained for the First City Games

Praia, Jun 7 (Inforpress) – The City Hall of Praia has granted dozens of monitors or sports animators recently trained for the 1st City Games, in a ceremony held at the Internship Center of the Cabo Verdean Football Federation.

The sports councilor of the City Hall of Praia, presiding at the closing ceremony of this training, highlighted the importance of those trained in the transmission of knowledge acquired to other sportsmen and members of different communities.

José Eduardo Santos said that these first monitors will play a key role in the 1st City Games scheduled for August / September this year, and he called for adequate attention to implement the teachings in the most diverse modalities.

Focused at leaders and community leaders from more than 40 neighbourhoods of Praia, the “Community Sports Leadership” training provided thematic participants with participation rules, Ethics and Fair Play, Olympics and Olympic Values, Leadership, be a leader, types of leader, and techniques for Project development, activity plan, Creation, Organization and Administration of a club.
