São Vicente: New song by Jotacê and friends approaching quarantine has already more than 22 thousand views

Mindelo, Apr 21 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verdean musician Jotacê gathered friends to sing “Se bô tem, bô pta”, which addresses some issues related to the state of quarantine, launched this Sunday and with over 20 thousand views.

João Carlos Silva, known as Jotacê, told Inforpress that it was first a joke, which he sent to his friend and also singer Gilson Gee, who was the main driver of the initiative, already considered a “success”.

“With the situation we are experiencing at the moment, I wanted to bring some lightness and good humor to people who are obliged to stay at home”, he explained, considering the main message of the song is encourage people to stay at home.

“The idea is for people to become aware, with greater or lesser difficulty they should stay at home, since it is the best way to be safe”, underlined the musician, remembering the lyric, which says this: “Go out on the street don’t even think, I’m here at house, chubby and cute”.
