São Nicolau: First foreign language school aims to improve learning and communication in English

Tarrafal de São Nicolau, Jan 29 (Inforpress) – English teacher Noemi Lima started a private project this Monday at the former high school, with the first language school, which aims to address the need to learn foreign languages at Tarrafal de São Nicolau.

In an interview with Inforpress, the school principal explained that the initiative arose from the need to help those who wish to improve their learning and communication, in a specific and general way, in terms of the use of foreign languages. “Since in the learning process each individual presents his or her pace and needs, we intend to invest in individual and meaningful teaching” she explained.

According to Noemi Lima, she noted that people are learning foreign languages “a little late”, so the idea is to start earlier, work with children from pre-school to follow-up to high school.

“Initially, we will start classes with the English language, as it is the main language spoken in the world, but we also intend, at an opportune time, to teach classes in other languages”, she added.
