Santo Antão: ICCA delegation promotes conference on abuse and sexual exploitation of children and adolescents 

City of Pombas, Paul, Jun 4 (Inforpress) – The delegation of the Cabo Verdean Institute for Children and Adolescents (ICCA), in Santo Antão, today hosted a conference on sexual abuse and exploitation of children and adolescents in Paul.

The idea is to address issues related to the theme, as a way to mark the national day to fight the abuse and sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.

ICCA delegate in Santo Antão, Earcénia Nico, told Inforpress that the conference will have four themes in two panels, namely a first panel with reflections on the role of education and the role of health in the fight against sexual abuse and exploitation of children and adolescents.

In the second panel, according to Earcénia Nico, the themes on the legal framework and social vision of the fight against sexual abuse and exploitation of children and adolescents will be developed for a target audience composed of representatives from several institutions, professors and representatives of the associations of parents and caregivers of high school.
