Espargos, Feb 4 (Inforpress) – The Sal Regional Hospital has new members in the governing bodies, whose inauguration took place on Monday, in an act chaired by the Minister of Health and Social Security, Arlindo do Rosário.
Doctor Cláudia Silva, who will lead the new team at Sal Hospital, as director, will be assisted by pediatrician Lisiane, the new clinical director, administrator Cleide de Pina, superintendent nurse, Sara Monteiro and pharmacist Giselle da Cruz.
These five women come to replace doctors Hélder Almada and Bakar, director of the hospital and clinical director, respectively, who today terminate their duties, a fact that made the Minister of Health observe jokingly that in terms of parity of the gender “men lose out”.
In his speech on the occasion, Arlindo do Rosário expressed, in the first place, “deep recognition” for the work carried out by the outgoing directors, allowing, as he said, the growth of Ramiro Alves Hospital and the improvement of the quality of healthcare services “in a gradual but consistent way”.
