Praia, Jan 30 (Inforpress) – The President of the Republic on Wednesday advised the car washers at the City of Praia to dignify their professions and to unite, in order to create their own associations, to better enforce their own claims.
After listening to the concerns by a car washers from different parts of this city, with whom he shared his teachings and advice, Jorge Carlos Fonseca said that, in addition to wishing the Presidential Palace guests a happy new year, the meeting served the purpose of finding out about some class conflict.
The Head of State was satisfied with the result of this meeting, since this initiative was signed by the City Hall of Praia, which sent a representative, to work with these young people to envisage the rules of appropriate places.
Ways to find strategies for possible support for family members, especially children, since most of these young people support the family with the gain of these jobs, was another curiosity raised by Fonseca.
The PR alerted everyone to the need to “dignify this profession”, marked by some conflict in the face of the lack of appropriate spaces for work.
