Praia, Oct 12 (Inforpress) – The President of the Republic (PR), Jorge Carlos Fonseca, said today he believes that Cabo Verde has young people able to make the country grow in the digital economy, auguring “bright future” for NOSi and the Technological Park.
Jorge Carlos Fonseca made these statements during a courtesy visit, the last as Head of State, he made to the Operational Center for the Information Society – NOSi and the Technological Park of Cabo Verde, in Achada Grande Frente, in the city of Praia.
“I leave here more convinced that we have young people, people capable and competent to grow. I have always been convinced that the area of new technologies, information technology, digital, such as languages, is one that Cabo Verdean has a lot of potential, skill and ability”, he said.
Also in his statements, the Head of State, he called for a “very bright future” for NOSi, focusing more on the issue of electronic governance and the promotion of the digital economy and the Technology Park, for other types of goals and objectives which have to do with the business world, business, service provision nationally and also internationally.
