Ministry of Education brings together teachers and coordinators to define the plan to boost ICT in schools

Praia, Jul 22 (Inforpress) – The Ministry of Education, through the National Directorate of Education, held a workshop to rethink the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the education in Cape Verde, from 22 to 26 this month in the City of Praia.

The event, according to Alana Monteiro, director of the multimedia service of the National Directorate and Education, aims to guide teachers and coordinators of the Information and Communication Technologies areas, through the practice of appropriating the many possibilities that ICT offers when adapted and adjusted to each school environment.

“Schools now have equipment, have the technological resources and the idea is to make the most of these existing resources in schools. In addition, there are also such free educational resources and the idea of ​​the workshop is to work together with the teachers in order to make the most of these equipment,” she explained.

During the meeting five panels will be presented, namely the panel on “digital transformation”, “the introduction of modular ICT”, “digital educational resources, multimedia and open educational resources”, “new paradigms of educational management” and in the last panel the presentation of the project to stimulate ICT in education.
