Madagascar wants to know Cabo Verde’s experience in education system

Praia, Apr 9 (Inforpress) – A pedagogical delegation from the Education of Madagascar is in Cabo Verde to get acquainted and to know up close the experience of Cabo Verde in the educational system.

Speaking on Monday, the head of the Basic Education Pedagogical Inspectorate of Madagascar, Voam Amgy, said that this visit represents an opportunity for her country to exchange experiences with the archipelago, knowing up close the school management actions and directors’ performances.

“Given the different context that undermines education and school outcomes in Madagascar, we have come to Cabo Verde to exchange views with our colleagues in the Ministry of Education, who are responsible for the framework and pedagogical inspection, to see how we can do to the directors of the schools, who are the leaders of the institutions, make the framework of teachers”, she said.

Amgy, who spoke to reporters after meeting with the Minister of Education, said they will visit schools in cities, rural areas and indoors to see how principals are doing to play this leadership role, stressing that the idea is becoming her principals good professionals.
