Government wants to make the country the international business center for economic integration in Africa

Praia,  Nov 27 (Infopress) – Industry, Commerce and Energy Minister said Tuesday that the government wants to make Cabo Verde the international business center, promoting the country as a regional platform for exporting goods and services on the continent.

Alexandre Monteiro made this consideration during the opening speech of the commemorative workshop of the Industrialization Day in Africa, entitled “Cabo Verde’s Perspective: Common Market-Opportunities for the Cabo Verdean Industry”.

According to him, the Government has implemented the policies outlined in its governance program and the sustainable development plan, which affirms the development of Cabo Verde as a commercial and industrial platform located in the Middle Atlantic.

In this regard, he explained, aiming at such objectives, the Cabo Verde International Business Center (CIN-CV) was implemented, with the updated legal framework and its operational office installed.
