Praia, Feb 6 (Inforpress) – Académica da Praia is the first team to reach the semi-finals in the Praia Cup, after winning this Wednesday, at Várzea Stadium, the Unidos do Norte by 1-0.

In a match for the quarter-finals, striker Tae scored the only goal in the first half, in a game in which the Unidos do Norte’s team showed, once again, a lot of attitude.

In the semi-finals, Académica expects Celtic or Benfica to play against each other in the quarter-finals, where the matches between Boavista x Bairro and Sporting x Chadense are also scheduled.

The match between Boavista and Bairro is scheduled for the next February 11, while Sporting vs Chadense on a date yet to be determined. The winners of these two games will meet in the semi-finals, thus completing the picture of the semi-final matches.
