São Filipe, 17 Jan (Inforpress) – Campanas de Cima / Chã das Caldeiras road is “important” for the opening of Chã and creates faster access to any evacuations, said this Thursday the chairman of the Specialized Finance and Budget Commission of the National Assembly (AN).
Parliamentarians on the Specialized Finance and Budget Commission (CEFO), who are in the island of Fogo, visited the Chã / Piorno road on Wednesday and, according to José Veiga, this infrastructure will create alternative access for Mosteiros and “it is a good work that gives satisfaction to the people of the region and the island”.
On Saturday, MPs will be at Campanas de Cima to learn about the construction of this road, since from Campanas it is not about rehabilitation, but construction, to understand if the available resources are being well allocated and serves the island.
Asked if they were informed about the delays and the investment amount of this work, José Veiga said that no information was provided on the delays and the amount of the investment was set, but in the course of the execution and depending on how the bidding documents was designed it may be necessary to add resource because sometimes there are deficiency in the preparation of the bidding documents.
