“FIFA Football in Schools” program launched today in Cabo Verde to promote football practice

Praia, Nov 5 (Inforpress) – The “FIFA Football in Schools” The programme was launched on Sunday in Cabo Verde, worth 50,000 dollars, and will help boost the practice of football in schools across the country, according to the project’s coordinator.

“FIFA Football in Schools” is an initiative of the International Football Federation (FIFA), created in 2019, and which has already benefited 102 countries, with the aim of covering all 211 countries in the world.

In Cabo Verde it is being implemented by the Cape Verdean Football Federation (FCF) and the Ministry of Education.

Along with the launch of the program, which took place this morning, in the City of Praia, the three-day training was inaugurated to reinforce the skills and capabilities of the FIFA “Football for School” project (Football in Schools, in Portuguese).
