Fernando Elísio Freire opens Regional Seminar on “The Future of Work – The Problem of Youth Employment”

Praia, May 7 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Fernando Elísio Freire,  shall chair this Tuesday the opening of the Regional Seminar on “The Future of Work – The Problem of Youth Employment” promoted by AGEPC-CV.

At a press conference this Monday, the president of the Association of Managers, Entrepreneurs and Catholic Professionals of Cabo Verde (AGEPC-CV), Miluci dos Santos, explained that this meeting, which will be attended by Cardinal Dom Arlindo Furtado, takes place in partnership with the International Christian Organization of African Managers and Entrepreneurs (Uniapac – Africa), the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Government of Cabo Verde.

According to the official, this is an “interreligious dialogue” that goals to provide young people of religious faith in Africa a space for reflection and production of proposals and recommendations for “better future prospects of work”, as well as “laying the foundations for interreligious and institutional dialogue”.

This is because, she explained, in addition to the Catholics young, the event will also count on the participation of associations and youth from other religious denominations, such as the Nazarene Churches, Adventists and Muslims, among others.
