FCF alert for the danger of “very strong focus” social phenomena in terms of regions and islands

Praia, Jul 25  (Inforpress) – The president of the Cabo Verdean Football Federation (FCF) alert the sports agents to dissociate themselves from the practice of social phenomena that affect sport and football in particular, with “very strong focus” in terms of regions and islands.

Mário Semedo made this observation in an exclusive interview with Inforpress, stating that “a moment in which there are social phenomena is going through Cabo Verde” and “it is very fertile to pass certain messages through sport, essentially football”, as a sport of mass.

“We have to know how to understand this phenomenon across island regions where some people are often being carried away by this phenomenon. In football we have to be able to manage this situation and, above all, to understand the behavior of certain people”, stressed Semedo, for who must avoid the danger of parochialism, which once made school in the country with very unfortunate situations.

In this regard he was clear that “it is not good for a coach to criticize the his colleague options, because in his team he will certainly have to take options that are not pleasing to the people”, underlining that the national team is at all country rather than regionally.
