Entrepreneurs women believe that obstacles are just an incentive to overcome their problems

Praia, Dec 12 (Inforpress) – Women attending the first UN National Entrepreneurship Women Convention believe obstacles are just an incentive to help them overcome problems early in their business.

From today until Saturday, UN Women brings together 50 women from Santo Antão to Brava in Praia, some established in the market and others in the informal sector, so that together they can find solutions to the problems that some of them are having at the beginning of their business or to growth their business.

Drússila Carvalho is a young woman from São Domingos who a year ago decided to bet on the creation of a company “Pro Terra” selling and distributing “Made in Cabo Verde” products, based in Praia.

This young woman pointed to funding as the “big challenge” of all young entrepreneurs in the country, however, she stressed, this is no reason to give up on realizing her dreams. “It is not easy with the market we have and the conditions we have in our country, it is not easy to overcome this phase, because every day we face new situations, but the challenge is to try to overcome each situation,” she said, revealing that everyday she seeks to innovate, to do things that attract customers’ attention and to promote Cabo Verde’s products in order to make a difference in the market.
