Covid-19: IGAE notifies economic operators to better mobilization of the workers

Praia, Apr 2 (Inforpress) – The General Inspection of Economic Activities (IGAE) is on the ground to notify companies and economic operators on the functioning during the emergency period, in order to organize themselves for a better mobilization of their workers.

According to the IGAE inspector general, Elisângelo Monteiro, said to Inforpress this measure is part of the state of emergency decreed by the President of the Republic, on March 28, due to the evolution of the covid-19 pandemic, which began at midnight on Sunday, March 29, and lasts for 20 days, until midnight on April 17.

“We are working in coordiantion with the Civil Protection to notify companies with authorization for their operation during the emergency period to organize themselves in the mobilization of the workers”, assured the inspector, who said that each company will provide its workers with a document that allows them to leave home to work.

Elisângelo Monteiro stated that at the moment, IGAE is on the ground with the inspection operation at the national level, in consultation with the City Halls and the National Police, to prevent hoarding and speculation in the prices of essential products and goods.
