Conveying to society the idea that COVID-19 is a child’s play, may put many other people at risk” – PM

Praia, May 8 (Infrpress) – The Prime Minister warned today that conveying to society the idea that COVID-19 is a child’s play, may “put at risk” other people who are not as healthy or as young as those who “open the chest” to the virus.

Ulisses Correia e Silva made this observation on the social network, explaining that we cannot show muscles to COVID-19, but “be intelligent in its combat”, comply with the rules and authorities instructions and “do not induce in others” behaviors that they only harm everyone.

According to Ulisses Correia, during isolation “responsible behavior is required”, as it is not a space for parties or to minimize the effects of the virus.

According to the head of the Government, the isolation of infected people with COVID-19 should not be seen as a punishment or as label to the infected person in the society and the community where they lives. On the contrary, he said, it is an act that should be positively valued.
