Cheaper rates for electricity and water – new tariffs are in effect since September 20

Praia, Sep 25 (Inforpress) – The Multisectoral Economy Regulatory Agency (ARME) announced Tuesday the new electricity and water tariffs that point to the widespread reduction in prices that came into force on September 20.

According to the new table, prices decreased between 11.5 and 15.5 percent (%) for electricity supplied by Electra and between 8.6 and 12.2% for electricity produced and distributed by Agua e Energia de Boa Vista (AEB).

Thus, at Electra, domestic low-voltage energy, at or below 60 kilowatt hours per month (Kwh / month) decreased from 28.30 escudos to 24.14 escudos, a negative change of 14.71%.

In the class above 60 kwh / month, the decrease was 11.51% with the consumer paying 32.03 escudos instead of 36.19 escudos until September 19.
