Mindelo, Jan 24 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Fernando Elísio Freire, said Wednesday that, during this year of 2020, the Cesária Évora International Airport (AICE) will be adapted to receive night flights and the Data Center, in São Vicente, it will be concluded.
Fernando Elísio Freire, who chaired the solemn session of the 558 years of the municipality of São Vicente, also guaranteed that “soon” the solution will be presented for the management of the shipyards and investments in Cabnave.
According to the minister, more than 13 million escudos of infrastructure projects, financed by the government by public companies, are in execution and planned for São Vicente in the period 2017-2021.
Such investments, he said, will be channeled to the areas of urban and environmental requalification, accessibility, housing and cultural infrastructure. “The Government has a clear strategy for the development of São Vicente, such as the economic growth of the island, driven by the private sector”, said Fernando Elísio Freire.
