Center for Renewable Energies and Industrial Maintenance launches “Reinforcement of Regional Anchorage” project

Praia, Mar 12 (Inforpress) – The Center for Renewable Energies and Industrial Maintenance (CERMI) and the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation today launched in the City of Praia the “Reinforcement of CERMI Regional Anchorage” (CVE / 881) project.

In a press release, the Luxembourg Cooperation Agency explains that the project is implemented by Lux Development (Luxembourg Cooperation Agency) and has global funding of two million euros (about 220 million escudos).

The project will contribute to achieving the results of the “Enhancing Governance of the Energy Sector in West Africa (AGoSE-AO)” program in terms of capacity building of regional actors in monitoring the CERMI transformation process in a regional center and the implementation of training in renewable energy and energy efficiency.

According to the note, project CVE / 881 is part of a large regional program called AGOSE-AO, which covers all the countries of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and Mauritania.
