Brava: City Hall promises to deliver “Fish Market” in June 2020

Nova Sintra, Oct 3 (Inforpress) – The Mayor of Brava, Francisco Tavares, expressed his concern today about the constraints caused by the works at the “Mercadinho de Peixe” and promises to work to get it ready in June 2020

Speaking to Inforpress, the Mayor explained that the City Hall has started the works with its own resources since the building / remodeling of the “Fish Market” is one of the “structuring” works that will be funded by the Environment Fund until the end of the term, together with the acquisition of containers and waste bins that have already been implemented, the acquisition of a garbage truck, among other projects.

However, he pointed out that due impossibility of re-operationalizing the old  garbage truck so far forced his local management to prioritize the purchase of a new garbage truck over intervention in the fish market.

Francisco Tavares assured that his team will do everything to ensure that after completing the acquiring process of the garbage truck will restart the works at the fish market so that, in June 2020, he can present the island with this infrastructure.
