Praia, Jan 2 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verdean Athletics Federation has already opened its registration for the 12th Liberdade Race, a race that will take place on January 13 in Praia, in celebration of Freedom and Democracy.
Organized by the City Hall of Praia, the registration for the 12th Freedom Race, according to findings by Inforpress, is open for Half Marathon, 10 kilometers and Young Race.
According to the program, the 12th Freedom Race, which starts at the Praça Alexandre de Albuquerque square, in Plateau, and finishes in front of the Várzea Stadium, will be played at the Half Marathon, Family Walk, Walk to Seniors, School Race, General Race, and Deaf T-46 in Men’s 10 km.
The 12th Freedom Race is sponsored by former Brazilian international footballer and former Sport Lisboa e Benfica captain Luisão, whose guarantee was expressed by the president of Luz club, Luís Filipe Vieira, at the opening of Casa do Benfica in Praia, at Largo Eusébio, in Achada de Santo António.
Registration, according to the organization, runs until January 10, at the headquarters of the Cabo Verdean Athletics Federation, at Vává Duarte Sports Pavilion, in Chã d’Areia, from 9:00AM to 6:00PM or on the website www. corridaliberdade.org.
