Adventist Basic School students trained in first aid and social services techniques

Praia, Jan 15 (Inforpress) – The Adventist Basic School, in the city of Praia, is carrying out training in first aid techniques, social services and the art of camping, with the aim of complementing education, said headmaster Jailson Jardim.

As part of the “Desbravadores na Escola” project, the same source, speaking to Inforpress, recalled that in 2023 the students began training in various areas with the aim of evaluating them beyond the classroom.

The activities are related to music, social services, first aid techniques and other areas that involve the creativity and growth of the student, mentioned Jailson Jardim.

“They’re being taught how to put out a fire, how to act in the event of an earthquake, they’re being taught music, the art of camping, laundry, (…) the lessons are aimed at all the students, and at the moment 98 per cent (%) of the students are taking part in these extracurricular activities,” said the same source.
